    December article & New lens & Features!!!





    First, I really wanna apologize to everyone. I have about 100 + comments, and I haven't replied to any in almost a week:( Sorry!! I just haven't been myself these past few months:( Anyways I just wanted to let everyone know that I never delete my comments, so I will reply to them...I'm just not sure when...especially with Thanksgiving coming up this week:sadangel:

    As some of you guys know...a few months ago my sigma 300mm zoom lens broke:cry: Well I have been saving up my money, and last week I ordered my brand new Sigma 170-500mm Telephoto lens:dance: It came a few days ago, and today I went to Miami Metro Zoo to try it out:w00t: I have to say I was a tiny bit disappointed though....It is extremely sensitive, and the tiniest movement effects the image. I was able to support the lens while shooting in some parts of the park...but other times it was impossible! I kinda expected this, because the lens is sooo BIG...but I was really hoping it wouldn't be this bad. I have a tripod, so I guess in the future I have to make sure I bring it with me:stupidme: Does anyone know of another solution, or tips??

    about the lens, if you have sturdy legs and you can crouch down (like a catcher in baseball) without shaking too much, rest and push both your elbows on your knees and hold the camera with both hands. worked for me for the most part, but I have big strong legs which makes it easier to hold still. and I am finally getting a dslr this week!!! after a whole year of wanting one I decided to just take out a loan to get one, I'm sooo excited, goodbye point and shoot!

    Thanksgiving week-I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving with my family. I love get togethers with family and/or friends. Those events are like pools of water to a man lost in a desert of isolation.
    I'm on my 3rd sigma 70-300 lens in two years. The first two broke and I'm saving the third one for emergency backup. The first two were still under warrenty when they broke.
    I purchased a Sony 70-300 lens to use every day.
    The 500 lens you purchased has to have a tripod support as far as I know. I need to get one of those one day.

    Lenses with such big focal lengths will always have this problem, I guess. A tripod would be the best solution.

    i bought a 50mm f1.8 a few weeks ago nikkor, that shows we do different types of photography =P

    excersice your left arm, or tell you boyfriend to put the lens in his shoulder when you want to shoot:P
