Today has been a bit chaotic, which is why I made the article so late in the day. My parents left on Friday for Buffalo and they were due back at about 7:00 tonight…so I was running around today cleaning the house and food shopping. At about 6:00 I started getting dinner ready...everything was going according to plan…then all hell broke lose! Daisy, one of our dogs got really sick (I’ll spare you the details). Anyways me and my sister ended up having to rush her to the Emergency Vet So after turning off the stove, and locking up the house...my parents called us to let us know that they had landed and were on the way home Needless to say they met us at the vet. The vet’s not really sure what’s wrong with her, they think she may have eaten something she wasn’t supposed to They said they were going to run some test and told us that we should just go home because it could take awhile It’s a 24 hour place..so I guess we will be picking her up sometime later…I just hope it’s nothing serious. So anyways that was my day…hope you all had a better one

Well just got back from picking Daisy up.....The problem that initially had us concerned turned out to be nothing serious Sadly though when they took an x-ray they found that she had several stones in her bladder So I guess in a way it's a blessing that she had issues in the first place, cause it made us aware of a serious problem. The vet said that they have to be surgically removed, otherwise they can potentially get worse and cause an obstruction...which can be life threatening Tomarrow we will take her to our regular vet to schedule an appt for the operation Poor Miss Mae!!!!
